How to keep parent and child issues in Sync

Hello,
I want to keep my child and parent issues in sync. For e.g. There's one story and it has 4 sub-tasks. By default, the story remains there in To Do status even though the sub-tasks are moved to the other columns. 3 sub-tasks are present in In Progress Status
What I want is that if my story has 4 sub-tasks. 3 of them are present in "In Progress" column and 1 is present is "Ready for QA" column, which means there's currently no task in To Do column and parent should be synced with In Progress Column where sub-tasks are still present.
