How to limit a board to one project?

Alexandr January 8, 2024

Hello, I noticed a bug in the filter while working with Jira boards, the fact is that I am using a board in a project = A1 and I want the board to be displayed only in this project. My filter condition includes other projects - project in (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5) and status not in (Resolved, Closed) and type in (Task, Bug) order by priority DESC . I also limited the viewing to the CTT project only. But still, this board is displayed in all projects specified in the project in filter (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5). Is this a bug or is this how it should work?

To limit a board to a single project, change the board filter so that it selects only for that project.

Hi @Alexandr

Are you using Server/DC or Cloud?

In Server, a board appears in all projects that are part of that Board's filter. In Cloud you can select the Board's "Home" location, which is either your profile or one project.
