How to limit the issue types list when linking issue

Hi,

Using ira cloud I would like to limit the issue types I see when I link issue?

for example, when accessing EPIC, I would like to see only user story's in the issue link list, I do not want to give the option to link a BUG to an EPIC.

Any idea? maybe some app can support this ?

(I am not using script-runner at the moment)

To be clear, are you talking about the generic issue linking functionality, or are you talking about the types of issues that can be created as Child issues under an Epic?

At this time there is no native method to limit the types of issues that can be selected in the generic issue linking feature. Nor is there a native method to limit the types of issues that can be made children of Epics.

You could use Automation Rules to monitor for the creation of those relationships, and either undo the relationship or send an email notification to alert somebody about it.

I have not heard of a third party app that is able to impose restrictions on the native functionality for either of these options.
