Hello,
I have a Jira Service Desk project configured correctly on my instance. Everything works well, it is on Production since a while.
To change a lot of different things in the workflow, I've planned a migration on next Monday.
During the migration, I don't want that the customers are allowed to edit the issues in the Service Desk portal.
For that, I will change the Permission Scheme associated to the project. In this Permission Scheme I grant only the permission "Browse Projects" to "Service desk customer - portal access".
When I test this, it doesn't work as expected. When I log into the portal as the customer XX, I don't see any issue in the first table/list whereas some in the project are assigned to XX...
Do you have any idea? Is there any other permission required in this case?
Thank you so much in advance for your help !
Sophie
Hi @Sophie DK
Remove "service desk customer - portal access" from "Create Issues" permission in order to prevent customers create a an issue on portal.
*Do it same for "Browse Projects" permission to prevent seeing requests.
After finishing the migration, grant access for those again.
