How to make a project as an issue of another project?

Hossayn Ratlami June 17, 2017

Hi,

We have a project with with multiple sub projects within it. Each of these sub projects have tasks.

I wanted to make a main project containing the sub projects as issues. I have made the sub projects as seperate projects within JIRA.

Is this possible?

Thanks

A project is a container for issues.  It's not an issue.

Two simple options not requiring code:

1.  Group the projects together in a project category

2. Use one project, using components (or a custom field) to represent the sub-projects
