How to make (reopen count) field should not available for editing from open story / edit screen?

I am trying to fugue out how to make a field not editable when a person decides which fields he would like to hide  and which to see while editing story. I am using reopen count field specifically for the automation that's why no need for it to be edited.

Hi Vera,

If you want a field not to be edited, you should remove it from Issue Edit Screen, bu keep it on Issue View Screen, optionally you could keep it on Issue Create Screen.

If Issue reopen count field is set by a workflow postfunction or by an automation rule, you only need to keep it on View screen.

Thank you! How do I set It up? Can you give more details  on how do i remove it from issue edit screen and keep it on the issue view screen?
