Hello everyone!
I'm new to Jira Advanced Roadmap and can't find out how to use it correctly and benefit from all its features. Hope your guys can help me!
On one hand, we have 3 squads working on different products. Each squad is composed of different skills (1 product manager, full-stack devs, DevOps, QAs, data engineers, data scientists, ...).
On the other hand, we have "transverse" teams - that don't appear on JIRA yet - for each specialty (engineering team, DevOps team, data scientist team).
Today, the product manager writes stories and epics in initiatives for the squad, except the stories and epics of highly technical teams (for eg. Data science stories, related to a specific product or to the team itself).
Today, it's very difficult to plan and manage resources in this configuration: each squad has only a global capacity (eg. 30 points by sprint) that doesn't reflect the reality of each specialty (an accurate capacity would be: 15 points of full stack, 10 points of data science, 10 points in data engineering, ...).
I tried to create :
1- new shared teams, for each transverse team, and
2- a project for each transverse team (eg. engineering development, DevOps development, data scientist development, ...) with sprints.
3- Defined the issue source of each "transverse team" to the corresponding project.
That configuration allows to manage resources for transverse teams, with sprints capacity and allocation, but it's not possible anymore to assign epics or stories to squads, as there is only one field to define the team...

Sorry, it was a long question, but I tried to be as accurate as possible!
Thank you all for your help.
