How to mark complete or inactive issues?

Axel Briones February 6, 2020

When you are working in a kaban board, and you have issues story on it, once they are done or to old, how can you marked them as complete or delete them?

Hi @Axel Briones and, Welcome to the community!

It seems you are asking about removing completed work from the board after a while of time.  Is that what you want?  If so, you can alter your board's filter to drop off items which have been released as part of a fixVersion or after a period of time.

For example, one team I support has these filters for their Kanban board's sub-filter

(resolutiondate IS EMPTY
OR resolutiondate > -7d)
AND (fixVersion IN unreleasedVersions()
OR fixVersion IS EMPTY)

Filters manage what is reported for a board, and the sub-filter manages what shows on the board. The above sub-filter shows open work or work finished within the last 7 days, excluding items where the release was already deployed to production. (released)

Best regards,

Bill
