How to merge 2 JIRA cloud instances?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Importing issues from JIRA server applications

My company has currently few different Cloud instances coming from legacy usage. How to merge them all?

Hi Sylvain,

The described procedure procedure here:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-merge-two-different-jira-cloud-applications-together-779160767.html which Aleks pointed out will work BUT, the project import feature which should be used in step B have a lot of limitations, the one that I find critical is that it messes up the Issue history.

The only workaround is to hire Atlassian Expert which can make it work with some DB level scripts.
