Hi @SOMASEKHAR RAO AMMITI

When transitioning from qTest to Jira Xray plugin, placing significant emphasis on the modeling of test entities becomes paramount. Managing the migration of 100 projects requires meticulous attention to ensure the preservation of historical data and the accurate linkage between test entities and associated information.

A well-defined cut-over strategy is also essential, given the substantial number of projects being migrated. With such a large-scale migration project, an automated tool is needed. OpsHub is an excellent option that can help you achieve this migration. OpsHub, an Atlassian partner, has experience in undertaking complex migration projects, ensuring Zero Downtime, no data loss, data integrity and full ownership of the migration process which can be an excellent choice for your use case. It supports the migration of entities including Defect, Requirement, Test Case, Test Log, Release, Build, Test Suite, Test Run, Module from qTest to the corresponding entities, Test, Test Cycle, and Test Execution, etc., on Jira Xray.

OpsHub also takes care of the following use cases:

  • Preservation of Institutional Knowledge: OpsHub preserves historical knowledge of test data.
  • Non-disruptive Migration: Migration can cause massive disruptions to operations by not letting users use Xray while the migration is going on. Often the cost of disruption can dominate all other direct and hidden costs.  OpsHub minimizes disruption to all aspects of current operations.

Please reach out to OpsHub’s Migration Experts for an initial free consultation on migration planning.

Thanks,

Brad
