Our users experience lag when loading the ticket. Actually, the lag occurs with the left menu loading, overall interface is loaded in 2-4 seconds.
Is there a way how to minimize the apps/plugin links that are in the tickect left area?
You can minimize or hide some navigation items in the Jira sidebar to help you reduce the clutter, but this customization is personal and each user must adjust their own sidebar, and it won’t affect what others see.
To do this, go to More (•••) in the sidebar, then select Customize sidebar. Here, you can show, hide, or reorder navigation items by checking/unchecking boxes or dragging items.
But, for apps/plugin links, if you have admin permissions, you can go to Settings > Apps>Manage Apps and look for toggles to display or hide specific app features in your project. Not all apps provide this option, as it depends on how the app developer has set up their settings.
Currently and based on research, there’s no global admin setting to minimize or hide all app/plugin links for all users at once.
If you’re experiencing significant lag, you might also want to review which apps are installed and consider disabling or removing those that aren’t essential, as third-party add-ons can impact performance.
I hope this helps.

Thanks .. but I forgot to mention that we have Jira Data Center. I did found a ticket where that functionality is suggested, but its not added to development https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-60880

Since you're trying to address lag and improve the speed of your Jira Data Center interface, especially with slow loading of the left menu, Atlassian recommends using the "Instance Optimizer". This tool will help you identify and resolve any performance bottlenecks, such as excessive custom fields, large numbers of projects/issues, or inefficient configurations. You can access and configure Instance Optimizer from the system settings if you have Jira System Administrator permissions. It provides features like index auto-healing, database integrity checks, and custom fields optimization, all of which can help reduce UI lag.
But, for apps/plugin links, my suggestion above is still the best approach.
