Hi @sriraman.x.subramani  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You just need to change the filter of the new board to include the project of the card you want to show up on it.

Boards are simply a graphical representation of the data (issues) and stories do not live in the individual Boards but rather are presented in Boards based on the filter query associated to that board.
