I have an EPIC with multiple issues that was created on the wrong board. I need to move the issue to the correct board, which is within the same project. I've tried the Move option, however that only works between different projects. I can not see any other options. Please help.
Hi Susan - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
First just a note that issues are not created against boards. They are created on projects. Boards use filters that determine which issues show on the board.
So, having said that, you need to look at the filter associated with the board to determine the criteria for the issue to show on the board
I managed to see JQL query that filters for specific stories and EPIC. Do I need to add these issues to the JQL query list to filter those specific EPIC and stories to show up? I do not recall, this was needed if I create stories in the correct board.

Can you post the board filter for the current board? But, yes, in general, you need to make sure the filter covers those issue.
For those in particular, if needed, you could add
AND "Epic Link" = ABC-123 and key = ABC-123
This would where the Epic you have is ABC-123. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your help. I understand. Below is a copy of the board filter:
project = GLP AND (issueIsChildOf = GLP-1337 OR "Epic Link" in (GLP-1255, GLP-1340, GLP-1344, GLP-1349, GLP-1357, GLP-1384, GLP-1393, GLP-1399, GLP-1411, GLP-1477, GLP-1472, GLP-1671, GLP-1379, GLP-1433, GLP-1487, GLP-1493, GLP-1500, GLP-1512, GLP-1558, GLP-1551, GLP-1575, GLP-1536, GLP-1516, GLP-1456, GLP-1455, GLP-1450, GLP-1608, GLP-1543, GLP-1634, GLP-1636, GLP-1635, GLP-1450, GLP-1745)) ORDER BY Rank ASC
I assume I just add the BOLD text to the filter and save it? If so, I've tried it, but I've had to use a new filter name, which I can not add to the board. I'll need to search how to amend the board to pick up the new filter name.

Yes, just adding the GLP-1745 should work.
Go to Board Settings then General
Click on the actual name of the Saved Filter (not the Edit filter query link) and then select your new filter there.
