How to mute jira bot notifications in slack?

I want to keep the jira bot posting info in my slack, but don't want red badges for them.
Essentially I want the same behavior as regular muted slack channels. Is there a setting for that? Thanks

Hi Pierre, welcome to the Community!

If you're referencing the messages you get from the Jira app in Slack (configured with the /jira notify command), the notifications will work the same as other Direct Messages in Slack. Currently the Slack client doesn't allow you to change the settings for individual Direct Messages like you could with a channel; all your DMs get the same notification settings.

One suggestion might be to create a private channel and invite the Jira app to it. In the channel, you can use the /jira manage command to configure notifications into the channel (this is done per-project in Jira). Then you can adjust the notification preference for that private channel in your Slack client to your liking, including muting the channel.
