How to pull a specific query on a Dashboard

Hello Jira friends!

I'm building a dashboard for our Product department that is meant to track how many critical and high bugs we've had in the last 30 days. They also want to drill down into some more specific metrics. 

I'm using the Filter Counts widget in Dashboard to create custom queries, but I'm not sure how to wire up a filter that will report on the following use case:

• how many fixes to critical priority bugs were deployed in the last 30 days

For a bit more context, whenever we know what deploy a bug is going out in, we'll add a hotfix release to the FixVersion field, so I'm sure there's some way to do this, I just can't figure out how to get the filter to show a critical bug once a release has been populated in its fixversion field for the last 30 days.
