How to put logs in a seperate file instead of Catalina

Hi,

I would like to put the logs generated by Script Runner to a particular file instead of in Catalina. 

I edited the log4j property file following the steps in the link provided by Adaptavist under the heading 'Using another file for Logging'.

This is putting the logs both on the log file created by the configuration in the log4j file and also in Catalina. 

Is there a way to put the logs in a particular log file instead of in Catalina?
