How to query for issues that were flagged at some point?

Hi peeps.

I'm trying to find all the issues that got flagged at some point in their lifespan. It might include those issues that are not blocked anymore.

Tips on how to do that using JQL?

For context: I feel most of the work my team does is dependent on other team's work. Eventually my team can't progress in the user story because it gets blocked until a third party provides us with something. I want to understand how many issues out of the total issues were flagged at some point in the process.

Ideally I would also like to know how much time issues were blocked on average out of the total cycle time of issues.

Hi Veller - JQL doesn't support querying the change history for the Flagged custom field.  You will need to resort to an issue changelog reporting app such AIO Reports

If you have blocked as a status however you can use a number of JQL operators such as WAS and CHANGED.  You can use them on Assignee, Fix Version, Priority, Reporter, Resolution as well.

JQL only supports finding the set of issues that changed in a specific way during a specific period.  To get more insight you should check out the Time in Status app.
