How to re-add a disabled user

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

A former users account was disabled, then removed. The user account no longer exists in JIRA, however when an invite is sent to the user, an error is received. The error is " We were unable to send any invites because one or more accounts you invited or disabled. Remove there accounts from your invite and try again.
