How to reduce frequency of (or unsubscribe from) emails from Jira?

As a user, I don't want to receive emails from Jira anymore  There's no point when I check the kanban board all day.  In the new version of Jira, I don't see this under User Profile and don't want to change the project or system defaults.  I just want to change email settings for myself.  How do I do this??

You need to ask your admins to "tune" the notification scheme to send you less email.
