Hi, I need to remove a duplicate Jira User (user has two presences on Jira under two different companies) from a Jira Kanban Board I created. I'm not seeing how to do it..?
Thanks!
Thanks 🙏🏼 Trudy! The duplicate presence is involved with multiple, separate projects and clients.. which must be kept separate from each other.
Ive created a Team in Jira that excludes them, that I would hopefully use to separate them out of the other parties’ project. How to filter out a current User’s access to an ongoing Jira Project -filter that one party out - becomes the missing step in the workaround then?
Hello @Bruce Bradsby
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Do you want to revoke their ability to see the board? To do that you would need to ensure that the filter used by the board is not shared with the user. There are multiple ways to designate filters shares that may make the filter and the board visible to the user; by sharing with user groups, with projects, with specific project roles, with your Organization, and so on.
If that doesn't address your question, can you provide more information about what you mean by removing the user from the board?
