How to remove suggestions of a second active sprint (from another project ) when creating Jira task

I have 2 projects in Jira with active sprints that run at the same time with different names in each project. When I  create a new task on one of the projects and choose which sprint should I add this story to, in the drop-down,

I see not only suggested active sprint on the project I am in now but also suggested an active sprint of the other project. It confuses people. How can I keep in suggestions only Active sprint of the current project I am in when opening task?

Hi Vera,

there is an issue open on this, at least for Server (JSWSERVER-10805 ). The reason for the behavior is that’s scrum boards, and associated sprints, are not project specific. You can, and many do, choose to create a scrum board that is cross-project. For this reason, if you were to restrict a sprint to a project you would break the cross-project capability. In any event I get the desire for the restriction and you may wish to reach through the aforementioned issue to see if there is an associated Cloud issue and status.
