How to remove the "Edit" button in Jira Workflow Scheme

How to remove the "Edit" button in jira workflow scheme when we view the workflow scheme in jira by navigating to jira project settings. And make it has only read-only permission for all the users who click on any workflow scheme.

You should check why every one is able to access the project settings, this means all users are project admins.

Check you permission scheme, check out the role on the permission scheme and or groups to all permissions.

Assign only the relevant people to the administrators role and others to the roles that fit the permissions they need

Only then the users with the admin role are able to view the project settings and not all.

The button edit can't be removed.
