How to rename custom field description

Hi Team 

I am using JIRA cloud, 

I have a custom filed called "Slot 3 time", while creating this field I have added a description what is the purpose of this field the same I am bale to see under field in my create screen. but when I change description in ->> my field -->> edit  the same not update at under my field in create screen.

 

When I changed at below screen shot the same not updating in my create screen under my field.

Hi @Musku Nagaraju,

1. You need to remove the description from the field (Slot 3 Time) by going to custom field page and then remove the description.

2. Goto field page from the project settings and then click on Actions -> Edit fields, Then remove the description from that (Slot 3 Time). Then the description will go off from the create screen.

Don't edit the Description from custom field page, got to the project contain field configuration then edit the field Description.

Once you edited, it will change to that particular project.

Go to that particular project field configuration then by editing the field you can change the Description.
