I've integrated eclipse (mylyn) with Jira, it works nice but the valuable time tracking feature seems not to work. Jira allows to track time spent on a specific issue. Mylyn reports the "Active" time which is the time spent on a specific issue, but how to pass the Active time from mylyn to jira?
I attach an image with the "Active" time from mylyn to Jira.
So far the only idea I've tried is to have the commit message with the tag #time xd xh, but it is impossible to me to get the x from mylyn.
Your support is appreciated.

Hi Andres,
The "Active" time calculated by Mylyn is not automatically sent do JIRA server. You must send it explicitly.
Simply make use of the log work part of the JIRA issue editor (Mylyn Active time will be automatically added) and submit JIRA issue.
If you use "Start and Stop Work on Issue" functionality then Active time should be tracked automatically: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/IDEPLUGIN/Working+with+JIRA+Issues+in+Eclipse#WorkingwithJIRAIssuesinEclipse-Starting/StoppingWorkonanIssue
Does this answer your question?
Cheers,
Jacek
