Hi everyone,
is there any change to restore a description in a ticket back to a previous version?
We have/had a really extensiv description with multiple tables, attachements, headings, colors and more and by accident we deleted the description.
We don't have any change recovering it from the history tab, because all the formatting is missing.
Is there any functionality for Jira admins or open a Jira Support ticket to do so?

I am not sure if there is an automatic way to do it. The only thing I can think of is to get that version from a backup, assuming you are taking a regular backup of your jira site.
Thank you for your answer, I am not sure if we take regular backups, but we were lucky.
One of my college had the story still open and we could save it again.
But I hope in the future it will be possible to restore it from history.
Why else would you keep a history?
