How to restrict assignee choice to a group?

I get users from Active Directory and only some of them have access to JIRA ( they are members of jira-users group).

How can I restrict the assignee choice to that group?

Permissions.  Check what the permission scheme says for "assignable user", it probably says "Role: Developers".  If it is a role, go to the project admin and put your group into that role (and maybe remove anyone else who is in there)
