Hello everyone,
In the filter management page and especially in the Assignee and Reporter fields I would like to display only the users related to this project.
Currently, all Agents and clients users of all projects appear in the filters while I have created a custom group that is only linked to this project.
I haven't found any project permissions that restrict this display. I also tested the global permissions where I only found the "Browse users and groups" permission but when it is disabled it doesn't display any users in the filters at all.
So I would like to find a balance between everything displayed and nothing displayed at all. A solution to display only in these filters the Agents and customers users of this project.
For information, this user group I have created, are not agents, so they do not have agent/assignment permissions, they can only create custom filters and export tickets.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi Adrien,
Thank you for reaching out to Community!
Just to make sure that we are on the same page when you say Filter management you mean the Issues and filters page?
If so, this page will show all users and customers when filtering. When someone has Browser users and groups they can find anyone on the instance.
On Jira it's possible, for example, to filter the assignee results on the ticket by adding a property in the workflow, but it won't affect the field on the Issues and filters.

Angélica
Hello Angelica,
Thank you for your answer and your tip, yes indeed I mean the "Issues and filters page".
Do you think that a new permission could soon exist to display only users and clients of the project? Because it seems incomprehensible to compartmentalize customers and users by project but not the results of the filters. Moreover, it increases the chances of making mistakes.
The idea would be to be able to choose the results of the projects we are interested in by project.
I think this new permission would bring value to your product and your other users.
Thank you for your time.
Adrien

I'm not sure if it would work permission for issues and filters, but maybe something that once we select a project it shows only users and customers from that project.
I created a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
Feel free to add a comment with more details about the feature you need.
