I understand that you can create subscriptions to filters for individual users or groups. However, I'd like to subscribe a few Google groups (eng@, product@, etc) to a filter. We have roughly 300 employees in the Google group, so I don't want to maintain it in Atlassian groups.
Is there a way to send subscriptions to a mailing list instead of using forwarding rules from my gmail?
Hello @Jesse Katz I would suggest you create Jira users with those emails assigned to them that way the behavior is as any other standard account.
I would also suggest not to use those users as real users else it might cause a lot of Spam and you would lose traceability of who is taking action with those accounts
Yes, I've thought of this put it's not ideal. I actually want to send this to 8 different Google Groups, so I'd need to create 8 different accounts which would get costly. I wish there was a way to subscribe any email address to a filter.
For now I'm sending it to myself and then using Gmail rules to forward.

I get it, have you checked this app?
You should do the numbers to see if adding the users isn't more cost effective than using this app but at least it's another alternative
