Hi!
I need to create an user to manage the users in Jira but I don't want to give him the Global Permission "JIRA ADMINISTRATOR". Is this possible?
Cheers,
Mage
Hi Mage,
Currently in JIRA, if you want to manage the users you must login as JIRA Administrators, here is the documentation regarding Managing users in JIRA:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Users
However, I found there is an known feature request from other users, that request for a 'User Management' permission alone within JIRA:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-1688
Please vote it for the implementation, and add to your watch list for future updates. For more information about how Atlassian implements new features, please refer to:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DEV/Implementation+of+New+Features+Policy
Thanks,
Amanda
