How to set a user group to a subtask only when the previous subtask has been resolved ?

We have a specific template that creates a list of subtasks and the previous one has to be resolved before the following can begin. When a user group is set, the subtask appears in the To do list of this group so I don't want the subtask to appear if the previous subtask is not resolved so I need to set the user group only when the previous subtask is resolved.
