How to set an automation rule to move a task from a fix version to another one, when status changes

Hello!

Is there the possibilty to create an automation rule so that a task is moved to another fix version when the status of that task is changed.

I am not sure what to choose from the options below...maybe Should I choose an option in the  "issue triggers"?

Thanks

Hi @Sari

The trigger, in this case, will be "Issue Transitioned".

You can select the status on the transition to which you want the fix version to be updated.

In the action, you can define the version to which you want the issue to be assigned.

A sample automation will look like this:

Hi @Sari ,

Based on your description, you want the trigger to be when the "Status" field changed. So your automation could be something like this:

Hope that helps.
