How to set current date in a custom field (date picker) ?

Hello guys,

I am trying to set up a postfunction that sets a custom field (date picker) to current date. (choosing the update issue fields - addon).

However, I am getting this error : "It seems that you have tried to perform an illegal workflow operation." 

Does someone have an idea what it could be please.

Thanks for the quick answer, we are using Jira workflow toolbox, I find a way for the post function using this, it's working for now!
