How to set "Item Resolved by" field as current user in "Close issue" screen in JIRA cloud

When close issue screen populated, Item Resolved by contains "empty". Instead it should be populate the current user.

What do you mean by empty? If the field is null, the initial value, it will show unresolved. The resolution field should either be set in a post function, usually when closing the issue, or presented on the transition screen for the user to select a value. The resolution field is ALWAYS required when presented.  I presume when you say 'populate the current user' you mean populated by the current user.
