How to set sprint dates in advanced

I am planning all stories for next 6 sprints and have created the sprints. It did not ask me any sprint dates yet as those sprints are in future. So from a advanced roadmap, the dates appear somehow and not sure where it comes from.  Is there a guide on how to set future sprints and have its date accordingly?

Hi Manas,

Unfortunately, at the moment, setting the future sprint dates is a feature not currently present on Jira, but in their backlog to do it. Basically, you cannot add sprint dates until you actually start the sprint.

I've found the following Suggestion that is requesting exactly it:

I strongly recommend adding yourself as a watcher on the issue to receive any updates on it.
