we are currently testing Jira and I have the following request:
How can we set up Jira in a way that there are different functional teams? When creating a ticket, I would like to be able to define which of my 5 teams is responsible for the ticket.
The other question: How can I create boards that are filtered so that each of the 5 teams has its own board, which then only shows the tickets that are assigned to the corresponding functional team?
I would be very grateful for any help :)
I think that simple Custom Field (which would a select list with 5 values that would represent teams) should do the job. When creating a ticket you choose a team in the field then all visibility (on boards) depends on that field (on filter you define something like project = A and field = Team A). Thanks to that you would be able to define 5 different Boards for 5 Teams.
