How to show release date on roadmap [Next-Gen]?

I've seen screenshots of what must have been older Jira versions where if you're looking at the roadmap, there's a distinct vertical line on a date that represents a particular release.

With Jira next gen, I'm looking for a way to show the release dates on my roadmap, is that possible today / is there an RFE for this feature?

I believe that the screenshots you saw were related to Portfolio for Jira (now Advanced Roadmaps).

The option to show Release dates on Jira Software roadmaps is not available at the moment.

There is a feature request suggesting this improvement:
