I recently created a personal task manager template. Created a epic, a task added to this epic, and a child of this task. When i open the timeline of the project, the tasks linked to the epic don't show below the epic. Like the epic and task are not related. How can i solve this?
Hello @Ivan Landerson das Chagas Pinheiro
Unfortunately @Michael Yaroshefsky - Visor for Jira 's answer is incorrect, and the screen images provided are for the List view, not the Timeline view.
For the type of project you mentioned, which is one of the Jira Work Management templates, the Timeline view does not show child issues nested below their parent Epic.
There is a change request about showing child issues under their Epic in the Timeline view here:
Thanks for the answer.
Seems that the feature was not yet developed even after two years from the issue creation. This would be super useful to us, we always use this in JiraSoftware, would be nice to see it in JWM too.

Hi @Ivan ,
My mistake. Trudy is right. Those screenshots were for the List view, not the timeline view. Please refer to Trudy's answer above instead.
