How to sort the cards of a Kanban board according to custom field

I'm on a company-managed project and I want to sort my Kanban board according to a custom field called "Value Score".

I saw an old thread talking about sorting it with the filter associated to the board, but I'm not sure I understand what it means. If someone can share some screenshots that could be great.

I'm a Jira novice - so many things are not that clear to me.

Hi @Yael Geffen ,

To edit the board's filter you need to perform the following actions:

1. From your board click the "3 dots" button at the upper right corner
2. Click "Board Settings"
3. Select the "General" tab if it's not opened by default
4. In the "Filter" section click the "Edit Filter Query" link, the filter editor will be opened
5. In the existing JQL replace default ordering with ordering by "Value Score" ASC/DESC (e.g. ORDER BY "Value Score" ASC)
6. Save the filter
