How to test workflow as a different user?

I'm working on some workflow properties tweaks, such as restricting visibility of issues for a particular status, but I'm stuck on how to properly test things are setup.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to login as another user to see how things work with their permissions. Looks like there are plugins available for the hosted version, but no the ondemand for sudo access.

Short of having to make another team member work log in and tell me what they see, do I have any options for testing my setup as another user/role?
