How to use Assign from field post function in Jira Cloud using Scriptrunner?

The Assign from field post function is not available in Jira cloud. Kindly let us know how to configure this in cloud using Scriptrunner.

The main intention of this post function is to assign an issue to a user from current field.

Can I clarify specifically what you trying to do - is it:

• When an Issue is transition to ABC Status
• Assign the Issue to a User, based on another field (eg. Reporter)

If yes, this should be possible using Company-managed Workflows - using Post Functions such as...

• Assign to Current User
• Assign to Lead Developer
• Assigned to Reporter
• Copy Value from Other Field

If none of these options are suitable, or you're using a Team-managed Workflow, I'd consider using Automation as a simple alternative, which is native to Cloud sites
