How to use workflow so that Test subtask is automatically set to "Failed" when moved back

Pietros

In my previous company, a testing subtask automatically changes its status to Test failed when tester moved it back to ToDo.

Is there is a pre-defined workflow in JIRA or do I have to set it? If so, how should I start?
Thanks

I think that is fine but "ToDo" doesnt always have to be "Failed" in the post. It could be coming from a new feature if that is what you mean

Hey Petr.

I would use the resolution or a custom field for this purpose.
If the testing subtask is set back to ToDo your workflow set in post function the field on "failed"
