How to verify if JIRA index is corrupt

Hi Team,

We are moving jira 6.3.15 from ms sql server to mysql on different server. i used import wizard and it worked fine however as we are close to our go live date jira import took 12 hours and finally gave various error after reindex reached 97%.

Lastweek  it took 2-3 hours, as my xml file is also huge 2-3gb

when i try to reindex on new machine it gives below error message.

I want to understand:

1. Is XML file is corrupt from which I'm trying to import

2. Is my new jira instance?

Hi Neeta,

so have you tried a "real" re-index with locking the instance so Jira will build a new file from scratch instead of working on the existing index? It is very likely that this will solve your problem in the first place. And I guess this is much faster than trying to nail it down and then still have to lock the index and build a new index.
