How can we hide Web Request credentials in Jira Automation?
I am trying to run an API using Jira Automation Web Request where I need to give Authorization credentials that are visible to all users/administrators so how we can hide it from that?
Hi @Pavlomir Marinov-DevAcrobats-
This is hidden for me, and anyone can see my credentials whenever they will uncheck the hidden box.
My Credentials are for external application (as I am running external system API) so I don't want to disclose, and my security team also will not allow to have credentials openly.
I really wish I could help you, but I can't replicate the behavior you experience.
In our project (Company managed type) I can not unhide the secret once the rule was saved. Same if I try to uncover the secrets of other members of our team.
I hope someone provide the solution you need.
All the best.

@Pavlomir Marinov-DevAcrobats- Thanks a lot!
Yes, After save I am also not able to unhide or see the credentials.
Thanks a lot for quick help with screenshots.

Hello.
If the credentials will be used only in Web requests of Jira Automation, perhaps pressing "Hidden" should be enough.
