I upload the next format to the Jira XRay
but the Jira post to 1 Action the all my steps 1,2,3 .
If I upload another template:
then XRay sees only 1 step and 1 expected result :
How should looks template in order to: 1 step will be 1 action, 2 step will be 2 action, IF when we map our fields we have ONLY 1 field ACTION
Expected view after uploading CSV file to XRAY:
Note: as I can see the XRay doesn't have an ID field (e.g. ID1, ID2)
Hi @Alina Loskutova and welcome to the community,
it looks like all steps are within 1 cell of the csv. Try to write the 2. step into the next line‘s cell, not within the same cell with a line break (maybe I‘m wring but that‘s how it seems to me).
The xray docu shows an example:
https://docs.getxray.app/plugins/servlet/mobile?contentId=62270459#content/view/62270459
Please let me know if this works.

Stefan
Hi, Stefan, thanks for your answer
But it does not work (
Jira sees it's like:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Also, if I wrote the csv file by manual
Example:
TCID, Summary, Step1, Step2, Expected Result1, Expected Result2,Priority,Test type,Request Type,Systems/Tools
1, test sum, test1 ,test2 ,1 expected ,2 expected,High,Manual,Other,Other
2, test sum2 , test12321 ,test23213 ,13333 expected ,2dsa expected,High,Manual,Other,Other
XRay sees my step1, step2 BUT Action field only one, so when I choose the Steps (1) -> Action, for Steps (2) the field "Action" is not available
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Another example:
TCID, Summary, Step1, Step2, Expected Result1, Expected Result2,Priority,Test type,Request Type,Systems/Tools
1, test sum, test1 ,test2 ,1 expected ,2 expected,High,Manual,Other,Other
2, test sum2 , test12321 ,test23213 ,13333 expected ,2dsa expected,High,Manual,Other,Other
TCID - we don't have the field of mapping in Jira for this field (e.g. Action ID doesn't exist)
+ in this template -> Jira sees only the first string
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Please read the documentation link I sent in a former post carefully:

I was able to perform an import with following settings:
CSV:
config:
Semikolon as delimiter
mapping:
Thats how one of the 2 imported tests looks like:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

Having the same issue for importing the testcases
but by using the semicolon it doesn't get solved also i've my own configuration file and note able to add multiple actions for the same testcase
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
in case this problem could be solved yet would you be so kind to open a new question with all the information you´ve got (describe exactly your problem, how far do you get, what do you mean with your own configuration, screenshots, any errors,...)
Thanks in advance,
Best
Stefan
