I am being charged for Jira access though my account has only 1 user

I created my Atlassian account and I started using Jira and Confluence with "Free tier". However, after about 7 days I have received an email from Atlassian asking me to insert payment details so that I can continue to use the software and when I added my credit card details, I was prompted that I would be charged since 4 April 2022 on a monthly basis. 

Is this a bug? Or a misleading promotion Or am I missing something here?

Hi @Partha Das 

Welcome to the Community!!

As you can see although the user tier is 10 and your user total count is 1

You are on Jira Premium Plan which is making the Atlassian Team bill your Site

You need to change the Subscription to Free

Here's a screenshot of how to do that

Navigate to Billing Page from Cog Icon

Navigate to Manage Subscriptions page

Change the plan to free tier

Thank you Pramodh, your solution worked. Though I was asked to enter the credit card number, the billed amount changed to $0
