I have been using Zephyr integrated with Jira as a test management tool to manage test Cases and Test Results, but now my company is inclining on Test Automation. Our app is built on the SalesForce platform and I am exploring this tool called XRAY. Can anyone let me know if XRAY is a better tool that Zephyr Squad and what are the pros and cons? Thank you!
Hi,
This is Majid @ Exalate.
Sorry, but I got slightly confused with the difference between the subject and the description of this thread. Are you looking to integrate Jira and Salesforce, or are looking for a test tool? If it is the former, there are plenty of options on the marketplace. Each tool has its own pros and cons, but the pre-requisite here is the actual use case. With Exalate's scripting engine, the sky is the limit - you think of a use case, and the tool has the flexibliity to deliver it.
Let me know if you want further information and I would be happy to assist.
Thanks
Majid
@manisha Prim hi. I'm not acquainted with the tool in question. Do you want just a test tool? If you're actually looking for an integration solution, feel free to check out ZigiOps (you can find it in the Atlassian marketplace). It's 100% no-code and easy to customize. It connects Jira & SF bi-directionally and automates tasks/operations.
Take a look at ZigiOps and even drop us a line if you want to learn more about it (how it works).
Regards, Diana (ZigiOps team)

Hi @manisha Prim,
I'm not familiar with Zephyr Squad or XRAY as Salesforce integration tools, but if what you're trying to do is connecting a bespoke app to Jira, integrate Jira with Salesforce, or make these three tools communicate, I'd recommend you using an integration tool like Stitch It.
Stitch It not only provides built-in connectors for Salesforce and Jira but you could also connect to any custom app you're using to manage your testing with our generic connector.
If you have questions at any point or you need assistance during the process you can get in touch with me using this link.
