I am not able to make team filed (which is a system filed locked ) Mandatory. Not by using Automation nor through custom filed configuration. In validators also filed is not showing up

You can use the workflow validator in a status transition.
| Field Required Validator | Field must not be empty during the transition. |
Have you checked that option?
The only thing missing is the red asterisk that shows "is required". But it works.
