I am working on a report for the CIO and we are looking across 7 teams that have been set up in Jira as Projects.  Each of these teams can click on their release tab and see the versions that are not yet release and released.  They can by project get a list of stories that have a fix version.  I am trying to get the Epics that have had some of the functionality released this PI that started on 9/17.   Any help with the issues filter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jann

@Jann Thomas

  1. Atlassian just released something today for JIRA server queries to see epics of selected stories ( I have not used it yet, just came out 22 Oct 2018)
  2. Up until today, JIRA Out-of-the-box queries issue links one step down, and filters by type, with "linkedIssues()

Basic JQL to help:

  1. A quick JQL for specific releases then try:
    • project in (insert project names here) AND fix/ release in (insert release names here) or
  2. for current release try:
    • fixVersion = latestReleasedVersion(insert release names here

Hope this helps,

Ryan
