I am unable to add an Org Admin.

All guides advise selecting Settings - Administrators.

As the Org Admin, I do not have the Administrators option available on my menu. Are there other ways of to grant this right?

try this, please:

In the organization administration -> Directory (in the top menu) -> find the user in the directory -> show details of this user -> in the top right corner there will be three dots menu -> Assign organization role

Hi @Anneliese Pretorius ! 

This was confusing for me the first time I did it as there are a couple different places called "Settings" within Jira. 

If you start by Clicking the app menu in the top left and going to "Administration:

Next choose the Organization you want to add the Admin to:

Then Click Settings in the Top Menu:

If you are an Org Admin and have gotten this far you should see the option for Administrators in the left Menu. Click on this and you will have a button to "Add administrators"

Do you miss the cog wheel within a product?

If so then you are not a product admin, if related to Confluence or you are not in the admin group of a product.

If you require more help, please share a screen shot of your user.
