I created a new project, begun setting up the project and then found out that I needed another type of project.
I proceeded to delete the project and created the new one.
Two filters seemed to have been created with the first project and they are left in Jira but I am not able to delete them.
How can I clean this up in the system? The filters are not used, have no project assigned but can not be deleted.
this is a nasty side effect of deleting the project. deleting things generally is a bad idea and this is a good example of why. The delete isn't a clean 'uninstall' process. I would use suggestion from Reshma or contact Atlassian Support for assistance.
Thanks for the answer. Yes I realized that and after asking for support from Atlassian I was able to delete everything I needed.
Cheers.

Hi @Ana C_ Brenes J ,
You can delete the unused filters in your cloud instance using Bobswift's Jira Command Line Interface. Please use the action as given below.
--action deleteFilter --id 10001
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Reshma

Thanks for the information. In the end all I had to do was delete the project permanently and then I was able to delete everything else.
Cheers.

When you select the ... menu on the right side of the page, is the Delete option present?
Best regards,
Bill

No it was not. I opened a ticket and was able to see that the problem was that the project was not yet deleted permanently. Once I did that I was able to remove all schemes not needed anymore.
